Now that the warm weather is passing it is time to start wearing more cloths and this usually aids in weight gain with many individuals. Every spring it seems like the same routine as you have 2 to 3 months to get back into shape for preparation of the hot weather and outdoor activities.

So how can you use the winter to improve your body’s physique and so course developing those six pack abs or a flat stomach. Back to the gym and to your home exercise program is the reality most of us must face but this year try to follow these steps as they will guaranteed incredible results with developing a body you can show off.

Beach Body Diet: Step #1

If you have ever heard the saying, “you are what you eat” than hopefully you have taken that to heart. Your diet plays a vital role with a sexy stomach and tone and firm body as without eating healthy you will have a layer of fat on top of your abs.

Keep a Diet & Exercise Journal

The first thing you need to do is start a diet and exercise journal to keep you accountable and monitor your progress. The more people keep track of what they eat and when they exercise they are more likely to stay motivated towards weight loss and a leaner beach body.

Eat 5 to 6 Meals a Day

Eating one, twice or even three times a day is not enough as you must put your body in a state of fat burning. Every time you eat your metabolism is accelerated and the food you consume is digested and used all over in your body. If you eat only a couple times a day your body is more likely to store your food in energy and fat storage’s as it believes you are starving. Our bodies are like a car engine so eat small meals throughout the day for maximum fat burning.

Cut by 500 Calories a Day

In order to lose body fat you must burn off more calories than you consume so by cutting 500 calories below your basic metabolic rate you will begin to decrease in body fat. Make sure you continually change the amount of calories you consume as if you eat the same amount every day your body will adjust to that so some days eat more than usual.

Increase Protein

By increasing protein you will begin to eat less carbohydrates and fats that will aid in losing weight to develop your rock hard abs. Protein increases your metabolism while also being the nutrient that is more likely to be stored as fat than any other nutrient.

Beach Body Weight Loss Cardio Workout: Step #2

The next step is to increase the amount of cardio exercise you are doing with weight training for creating your beach body for next summer. Begin to workout 3 to 4 times a week if possible as this will increase your basic metabolic rate while burning more calories through the day when just sitting around.

The last few weeks and month I recommend going hard core about your weight loss cardio workout and implement the “HITT” program in your week. This is an interval full throttle workout that will push your body to the limit while developing the sexiest body you thought was possible. Do about 40 seconds to 1 minutes of medium intensity than do 30 seconds of the highest intensity possible. Do this for about 20 minutes and you will feel and notice the difference.

Beach Body Weight Training: Step #3

Now at the final stage it it time for you to progress in your resistance training exercise to tone and firm your body for next summer. Weight training will increase your metabolism while burning calories a day later after your workout. Here are some quick workout guidelines:

  1. Do full-body or split body workouts
  2. Stay between 12 to 20 reps
  3. Rest only 30 seconds to 1 minute
  4. Use free weights
  5. Go in tell failure
  6. 30-45 minute workouts
  7. Stretch frequently
  8. Super & Giant Set if possible

That is about it as you should be able you begin your winter weight loss cardio and weight training workout for rock hard abs and tone and firm legs and arms.
