Have you heard about Bowflex yet?
Bowflex is an all in one machine for your gym at home. The machine is sold and marketed by Bowflex brand by Nautilus, Inc. this is one of the best machine for the training for resistance and strength. The machine is sold directly sold to the consumers. In their infomercials they show people with what they call “Bowflex bodies”. And this is the most famous way of their advertisement.
Bowflex is currently available in several models. The Bowflex Ultimate 2 is top of the line model with “No Cable Change Pulley System” with which you can switch between squat pulleys, cross bar pulleys, and lat tower pulleys without changing the cables. Ultimate 2 is available with 310 pounds and can be upgraded up to 410 pounds. You can have 95 exercises in it. Ultimate is more like Ultimate 2 with 90 exercises but does not have the “No Cable Change Pulley System”.
Motivator 2 is such a model from Bowflex that is sold through retail stores not through the infomercials. It is available with 50 exercises and 210 pounds but it cannot be upgraded. Conquest was another one like Motivator 2. It was designed specifically for QVC but the production has been continued later. The Xtreme SE is the upgraded version of the original Xtreme. This is a space saving machine that does not come with a bench but has an upright design. This model is available with 210 pounds and can be upgraded to 410 pounds.
Blaze is originally the Bowflex sport with a new color scheme. A small basket is available with this to store small items right at the hand. The Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE is the new version of the bbowflex Xtreme 2. In 2006 there were attempts to improve the previous models of Bowflex. As a result comes a new model came into the market called Bowflex Revolution. The Bowflex Revolution XP is the newest model from Bowflex to come in the market.
History of Bowflex
Bowflex matured from just a patent under Tessema Dosho Shifferaw. The product from Bowflex was first marketed in 1986. The product name was The Bowflex 2000X. Then the brand name was Bowflex of America. Later the name was changed into Bowflex; Inc and it became a public company in Toronto Stock Exchange. In 1999 the name of the company was changed to Direct Focus. The company became successful gradually and it bought Nautilus Corporation, Schwinn Fitness, and Stairmaster Fitness. The company, in 2002, came to be branded as Nautilus Group, now Nautilus, Inc and was shifted to new York Stock Exchange.
