Home Fitness vs Gym Fitness

So, which one are you a part of? In our world people that exercise are in two categories of exercising at home or at a gym. But which one is better?

There are so many things to include and look at before making an answer on this choice as one of them could lead to a healthy prosperous life and the other could lead to a money wasted, time lost and stressed out nightmare. Make sure you pick the best one for you.

Let’s do a little pros and cons about each one to begin.

Home & Gym Fitness

Pros of Home Fitness

  • No Traveling to gym
  • Your own time
  • No distractions form others
  • No crowding with other people

Pros of Gym Fitness

  • More equipment to use
  • Gyms bring motivation
  • People to spot and help
  • Larger workout atmosphere

Trying to decide with the pros and the cons is still a toss up as both of them have their high and lower points that makes the decision harder and harder. If you are having a difficult time making up your mind let me try to shine some light on this issue on what I have discovered over the years.

What do I recommend?

I have to say I would rather see people doing home exercise and living healthier without health clubs, gyms and fitness centers as these organizations only want one thing. Your money!

I sound like a jerk but after working at gyms for the past four years of my life it is what I and other fitness professionals have come up with. You thing we would be for the clubs and getting people to come to the gyms so we could have more and more equipment but the truth is stay active and exercising with people outside and in their homes is so much nicer.

As a society we work and work 24/7 to become secure and have to do things but do we really need that much money if we limit some things from our daily lives and keep the money we earn in our pockets. No we don’t!

A membership at a gym will usually cost around $100 to $200 dollars for a start up fee, $29 to $69 per month membership fee and this does not even include the possibility that you will purchase personal training and supplements. So what does it come out to.

Calculating it out and with some research people on the high end pay about $1500 dollars a year and on the low end people pay $600 dollars a year.

And that is only one year! 30 years would come out to $30,000 dollars!!!

That is a lot of money and I would rather have that for something else and would enjoy exercising and being fitness without the gym. Home exercise and fitness is one of the best things I do in my life and has kept me in the best shape of my life and it will do the same for you.

What are your priorities and if you really want to get into shape that is awesome so let me guide you towards a healthier and fitter you.

Have a great day and God bless!
