What is the absolute best method for weight loss, health and longevity for your life?
You and others face so many obstacles in lives like career, family and health that makes living a prosperous life seem impossible. For most people living an active and healthy life is impossible as the changes needed to add 10 to 20 years to their life will never happen.
What changes in your lifestyle need to be changed in order to capture this fountain of youth and health for long-term weight loss and prosperity? Is the answer “eating less?”
Eating Less for Healthier Life
Food being the center of attention in everything aspect of our life should make us realizes that of course our society is going to be overweight.
We can blame it on fast food, super-sizing meals, unhealthy eating choices, etc. but the truth is, the fault is our own. Are you forced to eat fast food, order large meals and have fries with your burger? Absolutely not!
Portion sizes and the choices of foods I believe is what the problem is and can easily be controlled for a long and healthy life. When sitting down to a meal try eating off a small plate instead of a regular or larger plate as you will discover it does not take much to satisfy yourself. When eating off a large plate your body signals your body that there are a lot of food and room needs to be made and this might cause early fat storage. When eating on a smaller plate it does the absolute opposite and metabolizes your food very affectively to get the most nutrients as possible.
Two main reasons eating less prolongs life:
- Calorie restriction reduces the amount of glucose that comes into cells over time that will cause cells to age slower.
- Dietary restriction increases life span with causing mild stress on the organisms in your body that aid in a healthier body.
This might be a little confusing at first but actually it is very interesting as everything happens inside your body and even though making the outside of your body is your focus, focusing on your inner body determines everything about your health.
Scientific Studies on Eating Less
In many studies monkeys have shown incredible results from decreasing their calorie in take by 30% that has aided in lowing body temperature, reduces the amount of insulin in blood, and increases the amount of a steroid hormone called DHEAS in blood that may be important for maintaining health. Another important finding with monkeys is that caloric restriction greatly reduces the severity of muscle damage caused by aging. Human lose a certain muscle percentage every year when at the age of 35 but eating less has been shown to slow this process down.
Studying man over the years certain traits and habits have been brought to researchers attention that have shown people eating less and healthier than others are living longer, have more energy and health disease are limited.
A study was also done on fifty people for 20 years that chose to change their life and began an eating less program that they have kept since the first day. Come to find out when comparing the fifty people on the eating less program with other people there was an incredible difference in the way they interacted and looked.
Many participants have even taken it as far as eating 1,000 to 2,000 calories a day when they normally consumed 2,000 to 3,500 calories a day. After the transformation and adjusting period the participants began feeling incredible amounts of energy, youthfulness and brain alertness unlike ever before. In the long run many have kept a low fat percentage, minimum health problems and feeling younger even at older ages.
Final Thought of Truth
By reducing your food in take you cells are protected against aging and age-related diseases. People that reduce the amount of food they consume also have a lower body fat percentage and lower risk of health diseases like heart disease, diabetes, etc.
Intermittent fasting is one of the methods that has shown great results while being something people can go by long-term as it is not a restricted diet plan 24/7 but has “on” and “off” days. This method keeps the body’s metabolism burning while your calories in take are low on certain days.
In my opinion eating less does need to be put into action but the level of restriction is something everyone must decide for themselves. I am a big fan of food and eat very healthy throughout the day but I know intermittent fasting is something I need to put into action for my own well-being. Everything we do with our body has consequences and knowing whether the consequences are good or bad determines what level and commitment to give to something.
Eating less while still being studied does shown great proof that it expands life but everyone must answer the one question for themselves, “is it worth giving up certain eating habits and restricting calories even more.” When you answer that question whatever you choose to do is what you want and will prosper for life as all of us want and do things differently but the meaning they have on our life is everything.
Eating less is healthy but you decide to what extent to take it in your life. Here on top weight loss site it is our priority to inspire you to take charge and change your life forever. Make the commitment and begin eating smaller amounts for health, weight loss and a long and happy life.
Have a great day and God bless!
