Models Workout for Looking Great

Okay, Ladies, it is that time of the year. The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, the sun is brighter and the days are longer. It is also a time when the clothes get a bit more, shall we say…revealing. If you want to step out on the yard in the best shape of your life then I have the workout for you. Keeping in mind that Morgan women are more than just beautiful creatures, I have designed this workout program to fit any busy schedule.

First, let me share some secrets I have gathered from fitness experts. Here is the most important diet information I am going to give you: You must eat. No matter how excited you are about getting into better shape, you will not help yourself by starving. You may get leaner for a few hours, maybe even a day, but your body will compensate by slowing down your metabolism, which means: more fat.

Follow these diet guidelines and you will see results:

1. Eat early and often throughout the day, include three meals and two healthy snacks (for snacks an apple and peanut butter is perfect.) Also, make dinner your smallest meal.
2. Avoid dry carbs: rice, bread, potatoes and pasta. If you must have these things make sure it is at lunch only!
3. Drink water all day long. If you can count how much you have drunk, then you haven’t drunk enough. Water makes your body run better, plus the more you drink the less your body retains and the firmer you look!

Here is your Top Model Workout:

This program should take you only 30 minutes to complete. You are going to exercise everyday. In order to burn the most fat you have to work your legs, since this is where most of your muscle fibers reside. So, my top model workout is going to slim you down and highlight the curves of your lower body all at the same time!

The best thing about this workout is that you don’t need to go to a gym to get the job done.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Legs, Buns, & Thighs)
You will perform these exercises as a circuit. This means go from one exercise to the next without resting. You may have to work your way up to this but believe me the results are worth it.

  • Perform Body squats for 1 minute followed by 1 minute of crunches
  • Perform Body squats for 45 seconds followed by 45 seconds of crunches
  • Perform Body squats for 30 seconds followed by 30 seconds of crunches
  • Rest for 2-3 minutes
  • Do 20 lunges per leg followed immediately by 10 jumping jacks
  • Do 15 lunges per leg followed immediately by 10 jumping jacks
  • Do 10 lunges per leg followed immediately by 10 jumping jacks

At the end of this workout, do your favorite cardio for 20-30 minutes. I suggest something that gets you outside like jogging, walking or my favorite jumping rope

Tuesdays & Thursdays (Upper Body)
The following two exercises tone your entire upper body. You will perform them one after the other without resting (”super-sets”), so get ready.

  • 10-20 Modified push-ups
  • 12-15 Front Raise Pullovers

Try and do this superset three times. You may rest for two minutes between supersets. Again you may have to work your way up to the workout as I have designed it.

  • Modified push-ups (also known as girl pushups, but don’t let the name fool you. These moves will get you into great shape.) Position yourself face down on the floor with your weight supported by your knees. Your arms should be shoulder-length apart. Slowly lower your body to an inch from the floor. Pause at the bottom and then push yourself back up to the starting position.
  • Front-Raise Pullover: Grab a textbook length-wise in both hands, and hold it with bent arms in front of your hips and midsection. Stagger your feet so that your left foot is in front of you. Without changing the bend in your elbows, raise the textbook above your head. Squeeze your abs as you lift the weight. Pause at the top, and then lower to the starting position.

Again, do 20-30 minutes of your favorite cardio following this workout.

Saturdays & Sundays (Let your hair down and get your groove on)

Your body was made to move and that is exactly what I want you to do on the weekends. There are no specific workouts. However, I want you to go out into the world and flaunt your stuff. Dance all night at the club, play pick up basketball, softball, or whatever it is you do. But just make sure that your body is moving while you do it!

Have a great day and God bless!
