Treadmill Desk for Losing Weight

Treadmill desk for losing weight at work is the solution?

I don’t know really if this will fly as the amount of work that gets done will be limited by the attention on walking. It is something interesting though but the wrong focus is being taken on health and weight loss.

I believe that “The Marlin Company’s just-released 2007 workplace poll conducted by Harris Interactive” is false targeting the problem as when is it the employer’s fault for their employee getting fat? It is the employee’s that are not eating healthy and exercising. This is just like fast food places as everyone believes it is their fault for customers being overweight. Do fast food places make you eat the fattening food? No!

It is time for people to start taking responsibility for their own actions instead of always blaming them on other people. I would love to help anyone improve their health, fitness and being an incredible weight loss exercise program but the first thing is knowing you and you alone is why your body is the way it is. So let’s begin…

Eating Healthier and Exercising is Key

Eating Healthy for desk job employees

Improving eating habits at work is really not that difficult but with so many complaints I guess it is so let me give you the break down with eating healthy.

Preparing ahead of time is the key for staying away from the vending machines later on in the day when food is the only thing you are thinking about. Packing fruits and vegetables is the absolute best thing in my experience to avoid eating binges and making a quick trip to the vending machine.

Healthy Work Snacks

  • Pack fruit
  • Yogurt
  • Nuts
  • Crystal light
  • Health bar (energy bars like Solo, Kashi Go Lean, Zone bars or  energy shakes like Slimfast, South Beach, Boost, Ensure, etc.)

Don’t let yourself go hungry as you will have a huge hunger bug later on in the day that will torment you till you can’t take it any longer. Eat healthy, small snacks and frequently if possible.
Have a great day and God bless!
