Exercise for a Lean & Fit Physique

I can’t remember how many times I have heard sayings like “I walk 5 miles every day,” “I will eat less,” or my favorite “I do an hour of cardio exercise a day and still get no results.” It is time to explain why these sayings are foolish and only excuses as the answers are the following:

  • First Reason. They don’t even monitor their eating and think exercise will be enough lose weight.
  • Second Reason. Exercise is not intense enough to lose weight effectively.
  • Third Reason. They don’t exercise on a regular basis to keep a certain fitness level.

Cardio exercise and weight training are by far the best way to lose weight, tone and firm your body and accelerate your metabolism. When eating healthy and exercise are implemented into a lifestyle, achieving desired results becomes a regular weekly thing.

If you want to lean and tone your body that lifting weights is crucial. Depending on your body type the basic repetition range is 10 to 15 or for more endurance increase to 15 to 20 repetitions. Rest is also another factor you must decide on but for burning fat keep the resting less than 30 seconds and if possible rest in shorter periods. Keep the weight heavy enough that it burns your arms but not so much that you can’t keep good form.

Conclusion

When people thought they could do one without the other and still get the weight loss results, boy where they wrong. Knowing that exercising and eating healthy go hand in hand is something that people don’t want to accept but it is true. One without the other will only leave you depressed on what minimal fitness gains you have made. Don’t neglect or exercise and accelerate in both for optimal fitness and health.

Have a great day and God bless!
